There is a tab that is placed next to the switch which extends out past the switch. This tab has 2 holes in it so that the user can place a small pad lock on it. The pad lock will prevent the switch being turned on or off depending on the placement of the lock in either the upper or lower hole. The pad lock is not supplied with the unit.
